Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

Friendball is a small, invite-based social app for people who actually know each other. These terms are written in plain language on purpose — Friendball is still in beta, built for a trusted community rather than the general public, and we'd rather you actually read this than skim past legalese.

1. Who can use Friendball

Friendball is invite-only during beta. New accounts need to be vouched for by an existing member or approved directly, and every account must belong to a real person — no bots, no impersonation, no accounts representing a business rather than a person. You must be at least 13 years old to use Friendball.

2. Your content

You own what you post — photos, videos, Rolls, messages, comments, and everything else. By posting, you give Friendball a license to store, display, and transmit that content to the audience you chose (friends, friends-of-friends, a World, or the public feed, depending on what you picked) so the app can actually work. We don't sell your content, and we don't use it to train anything.

3. What you agree not to do

No harassment, hate speech, threats, or targeted abuse. No sharing content involving the exploitation of minors — this is reported directly and the account is removed immediately. No impersonating another person. No spamming, scraping, or trying to break the audience controls that keep private posts private. No using Friendball to evade a block or reach someone who has blocked you.

4. Reporting and enforcement

Any member can report a post or a Passport. Reports go to the people running Friendball for review. We can remove content, suspend, or permanently remove an account that violates these terms, at our discretion, with or without advance notice if the situation warrants it (e.g. safety issues).

5. Blocking and leaving

You can block any user or leave any World or Ball at any time. Blocking is mutual and immediate — a blocked user can't see your content, message you, or interact with anything you post, and you won't see theirs either.

6. Balls (Friendball's internal currency)

Some parts of Friendball use "Balls," an internal currency with no cash value, no ability to be purchased, and no ability to be converted to real money. Balls exist purely inside the app.

7. Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This removes your profile and content according to the process described in our Privacy Policy.

8. No warranty, beta software

Friendball is provided "as is" during this beta period. Features may change, break, or be removed as we build. We'll do our best to keep your data safe and the app running, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability at this stage.

9. Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a meaningful way, we'll let members know in-app before the change takes effect.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms? Reach out through the contact info on your invite, or via a report in the app.
